We’re Considering a New Quote Module – What Do You Think?
We’re exploring the idea of a revamped Quote Module with exciting features designed to simplify and enhance the quoting process. Here’s what we’re thinking so far:
- Familiar Layout: A design similar to the Sales Order for consistency and ease of use.
- Enhanced Delivery Options: Users could select a location and one piece of equipment (linked to that location).
- Stock Information: Display stock availability (informational only), just like in Sales Orders.
- Improved Basket Controls: Users might gain the ability to edit unit price, discount, and net price directly within the basket.
- Digital Signatures: Allow customers to sign and approve quotes online, updating the status to “Signed.”
- More Conversion Options: In addition to creating a Sales Order or Work Order, we’re considering adding the option to convert a quote into a project.
